compare with 和compared to不同

compare … with: 把…與…相比較，如：

He compared London with Paris. 他把倫敦與巴黎相比較。

compare … to:把…比與…相比較，如：

He compared London to Paris.

他將倫敦與巴黎相比較。

London is larger compared with to Paris.

與巴黎相比，倫敦較大。

但在較長(zhǎng)期，詳細(xì)的比較場(chǎng)所仍多用compare with。

This is a paper that compares the human brain with that of the elephant.
